In 2021, as requests for charging stations multiplied, the Solano phase 7 syndicate of co-owners wanted to follow in the footsteps of its neighboring phases by installing a charging infrastructure enabling its co-owners to charge their electric vehicles at home.
Charging Solution
Of the 146 units in the building, 66 have accessible electricity meters (located on the second floor of the underground garage) and 80 have inaccessible meters (located on the 9th floor of the building). Two separate charging solutions were therefore adopted: the charge controller for units with accessible meters, and the smart panel for electric vehicles for units with inaccessible meters.
Installation
To maximize the available rebate, the installation was spread over successive years: 2 smart panels, 11 charging stations and 11 charge controllers were installed in 2021, followed by 5 charging stations in 2022 and 5 more in 2023.
